Elliott Murphy: American Rock Singer from New York City. In 1969, he wrote the notes of Velvet Underground's "Live 1969". In 1973, he recorded his first effort "Aquashow" together with his brother Matthew. The LP published by Polydor is critically acclaimed. Sales proved to be disappointing, he signed with RCA, which edited the next two albums "Lost Generation" in 1975 and "Night Lights" in 1976. They weren’t as successful as expected in spite of their exceptional quality. Trying his luck with Columbia Records "Just a Story from America" was released the following year...
